Time: 6:00 pm

(6 weeks) This Basic Obedience L class focuses on loose-leash walking and is one half of the Basic Obedience curriculum. It is geared for dogs who have taken a Playful Pups class already, since it builds on those skills. It may be taken either before or after Basic Obedience S (stationary behaviors), but both are necessary for a complete Basic Obedience course.

(6 weeks) This "Intro to Force-Free Obedience" class is for dogs just starting training classes and/or dogs with some training but have not learned through science-based, force-free training methods. Clicker training is taught, clicker included!

Time: 4:30 pm

This is a specialized class for students who are currently part of the TADSAW program.

* Basic Obed Basic Obed

Time: 6:00 pm

(6 weeks) Basic Obed is a blend of both stationary behaviors and loose-leash walking training. It does not go into the depth of either Basic S or Basic L; however, it does introduce the skills taught in these classes.

* Real-World Obed Real-World Obed

Time: 6:00 pm

(6 weeks) Force-Free methods are used to help owners learn how to navigate interactions between their dogs and other dogs, people, and situations. Behaviors taught include polite sits for attention, settling quietly at the owner’s feet, and responding to “Leave it” for anything, not just food!

Time: 10:00 am

(6 weeks) For puppies roughly between 8 and 20 weeks at start of class. Pups that have attended six puppy classes with a certified trainer (me!) can be awarded their AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy designation!

* Pup KindergartenPup Kindergarten

Time: 11:30 am

(6 weeks) Next step for Puppy Manners grads and for puppies just starting group-class training who are roughly between 16 and 24 weeks old ON THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS.

(6 weeks) To be taken after at least two Basic classes, this class advances the skills and range of Obedience training. Dog sports may be introduced, including Agility and Rally.

* TDI / CGC PrepTDI / CGC Prep

Time: 6:00 pm

(3 weeks) This class prepares dog handler teams to pass the Canine Good Citizen test. It also will prepare dogs for the Therapy Dog International test. The tests are similar and are evaluated simultaneously; however, dogs need to be 6 months old for CGC and 1 year old for TDI.
