Scott Casino

Scott is a graduate of Animal Behavior College (ABC) and has been leading obedience and agility training classes for several years. He is a therapy dog handler, competes in agility and has also trained dogs in rally and herding. Scott is a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen and STAR Puppy Evaluator, has worked at an animal shelter, and has fostered many dogs for shelters and rescues.
Scott's passion is playing agility with his dogs. He competes with three dogs: Cali, a tri-colored Sheltie; Summer, a sable & white Sheltie; and Joslyn, a sable Pomeranian. He and his dogs have earned over 100 titles and awards in multiple agility venues and consistently place in the annual Top 10 rankings. Scott and Summer are also two-time NADAC National Champions, having won in 2009 and 2011.
Scott has experience with a wide variety of breeds including Shetland Sheepdogs, border collies, rough collies, Australian shepard dogs, Australian cattle dogs, German shepard dogs, beagles, poodles, dachshunds, shih tzus, bischon frises, Yorkies, mastiffs, St. Bernards, Bernese mountain dogs, doberman pinschers, pit bulls, bulldogs, boxers, cocker spaniels, brittanys, labrador retrievers, golden retrievers, and others. Scott also attends dog training seminars and clinics conducted by some of the best dog training experts in the country such as Suzanne Clothier, Sarah Kalnajs, Sharon Nelson, Debi Hutchinson, Paula Goss, and Rhonda Carter.
Scott lives in Chesapeake, VA with his wonderful wife Diana, and their dogs Cali, Summer, Joslyn, and Chesnee, a Rough Collie (Diana competes with Chesnee).
